Paul Mengert, AMG Founder and Leader, Provides Education to Many

May 22, 2019

One key thing that guides Paul Mengert, AMG (Association Management Group) chief executive officer (CEO), in his life, it is that giving back to their community is among the most important things any person can do. Paul founded AMG way back in 1984 and he did so in his hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina, because that community had given him so much and he wanted to provide them with an economic boost the best way he could. A primary reason Paul Mengert, AMG (Association Management Group) chief executive officer (CEO), is now considered a highly regarded leader in the homeowners association management industry nationwide is because his effective education and training has made homeowners’ associations more responsive and customer-oriented.

Not only are Paul Mengert and AMG adding to the Greensboro business climate, but they are creating a climate that increases the ability of the community to deal with any situation. Paul’s love for education probably comes from his own schooling, starting with the Political Science and Communications he earned from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro and continuing with his certification as a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM), which he received in 1990. He then followed that up by getting a degree from Harvard Business School in 2005.

From his perspective, Paul Mengert’s AMG leadership is simply the best part of his life; it’s certainly not all of it. He also serves as President of the Carolinas Chapter of the Community Associations Institute, for which he gives back by teaching CLE classes to those who work with homeowner's associations; classes that are approved as continuing education credits by many diverse groups, like the South Carolina Department of Real Estate, the California Department of Real Estate, as well as the North Carolina Board of Realtors, among others.
